Can you actually really sue someone?

my ex booger boyfriend took some unauthorized pictures of me when i was out cold sleeping. you see i was drunk from a party i had went to. now that we have officially broken up for good he has sent these disturbing pictures to me. i was wondering since im a bimbo and dont know ****...can i actually sue him for that?
