Should i ask her out or not?

ok me and this girl have been real good friends for awhile and ive liked her forever but she dont know that but ill joke about it sometime with her my question is should i ask her out or tell her how i feel even tho i know for a fact she probably wont talk 2 me agin or should i keep it a secret feeling and stick with the friendship, i want 2 tell her but i dont know how so i thot i would ask yall
