How to remember the states of Mexico?

Make up a story with the first letters or use the first letters to form words. As a simple example when i try to name the giant gas planets in our solar system in order i think of the name JSUN (my nephew Jason) Jupiter, Saturn, Ur, Neptune. Another example is with Electrical formulas i think of WestVirginiA or W=VA Watts = Volts x Amps.
