Sweeney Todd, the singing?

I found Johanna's voice to be too sweet. I'm not sure if it was altered, but it just was not appealing to me. Johnny Depp and Helena Bottam Carter were bother great though. Johnny Depp has a rasp to his voice that is really nice with that character.
